Who am I?

Maureen Perkins

I am currently a lecturer on Unitec's ECE teaching degree programme in Auckland, New Zealand. My interest in ECE developed through my involvement with Playcentre, and later I lectured at several teacher education providers as well as spending 5 years involved in Professional development contracts with the Ministry of Education through the University of Auckland.

I am particularly interested in curriculum and assessment, mathematics, children's literature and ICT
